Alpacas are our way of life. We live, breathe & love them & the fibre they produce. You’ll not find more passion & enthusiasm for alpacas than on our farm. We love sharing our love affair with these curious & gentle animals through our Experiences.
Emma & Chris own the farm & the herd known as Alpacas of East Anglia; they built East Anglia Alpaca Mill & Exclusively Alpaca Shop & host Experience Alpaca as a diversification of the farm.
We consider ourselves hugely fortunate to own our herd of 50+ alpacas & a farm in a beautiful part of rural east Norfolk. We are close to The Broads, Acle (5 minutes), Norwich (15 minutes), Great Yarmouth (20 minutes), Cromer (45 minutes) & easily accessible from the A47 main trunk road.
Our farm is home to the alpacas who are busy all year round growing their fleeces for us to make into yarn & they are always glad to see visitors too – especially those with carrots! Folklore has it that we are only ever ‘guardians’ of alpacas & we feel privileged to have these curious & gentle creatures in our lives. They give so much pleasure to everyone who meets them.
Our Experiences are not open to the walk-in public however you can book your Experience online for any day of the week at a time & duration to suit you (availability permitting). We offer Experiences which vary in duration from 60 minutes; whichever you choose we hope you will become as enchanted with the alpacas as we are.
Our Meet, Greet & Feed Experiences are suitable for all ages & abilities & wheelchairs are very welcome – please be aware there is a gentle grassy incline to the paddocks. However, the alpacas are terrified of umbrellas & pushchairs(!) so we ask they are left at respectful distances from the paddocks. Dogs are not permitted on site. We are happy to provide lightweight chairs free of charge – please book them along with your experience.
Cria Watch – we are having a year off from babies in 2024 so Cria Watch is not available in 2024 however previous years ‘babies’ will be pleased to meet you!
